In the late 1980s and early '90s, the Lunachicks headlined classy joints like CBGB and toured nationally with the likes of the Ramones, Butthole Surfers, Gwar, Dickies and The Dictators. They landed a record deal in the UK and landed on the covers of NME, Melody Maker and Sounds several times, while at the same time dominating the American underground press and radio. Binge & Purge was the band's first-ever U.S. album and remains a favorite of their legion of fans world-wide.
