"Willie Hutch is the man, and his soundtrack for The Mack is one of my all-time favorites, but Foxy Brown is certainly far from inferior. The singing is more powerful, the melodies are more rich and absorbing, and the entire thing is simply a feast for the ears. I can't even choose a favorite track, they're all brilliant and the perfect length. I always preferred the movie Foxy Brown over Coffy, and this soundtrack is one of the many reasons why; it's aged a lot better and sounds as good today as it did when it first came out. Needless to say, if you're looking for that perfect dose of Funk and Soul, you could do a helluva lot worse than this."
