Those rapid, malevolence-filled drums reeks of an incredible talent oozing from both Ken's persona and his hands. Butterfly effect time: imagine if Carcass' didn't exist. Grindcore would be a siege of sucks-on-ice punk-esque repetitive music, or how brutal the album would be (more than it is though) if the bass was audible and explicit? - Jeff Walker/Bill Steer's vocals trade between harsh vocals and brutal deep growls; it's kind of boring that the track "Empathological Necroticism" doesn't feature too much of the growls of Bill Steer. While Jeff feasts on his harsh gargles, he does pitch-shifted "eaaurgh" sounds; notable examples and primary hands are from the "post-guitar intro" from the first song, "Reek of Putrefaction", yet like a maggot crawling into a corpse drenched in lividity, the track is the best full-length opener ever. Other notable examples: Crepitating Bowel Erosion, Ruptured in Purulence.

Overall, the full-length is a must-have of the following bands: (insert 6,244 grindcore bands, 1,135 goregrind bands, and 55,946 death metal bands that are here on Metal-Archives). Jokes aside, it's the gem of goregrind/grindcore, and I said "the", instead of "a", because the sound oozing from each wave of sound and noise had a dramatic effect on every element of grindcore.
